With cooler weather here please take the time to care for you pets. On a recent piece of property that I sold I found 5 very small kitten in the outside building. I watched them for three days and things did not look good. So I now have 5 kitten that I  bottle fed to keep them alive.  They are the sweetest thing in this world. The joy they have brought to me is more than I can say so please that the time this winter to take care of God's small creatures.

We've still got bears and coyotes roaming about in search of food. The occasional squirrel and chipmonk too, but most of them are already hunkered down for the winter.

Jean, that is great you took those kitties in.  No telling what got their mother.  We have been losing a lot of cats out of our neighborhood. We think to coyotes.  The area is all being developed so the coyotes have no place to go.  Glad you saved 5 little kitties.  I now have my daughters two cats and I enjoy the heck out of them.  She is a flight attendant based out of JFK and flies too much to be able to have pets.  I always make sure they are in at night so they don't become coyote meat.

Jean:   What a huge heart you have!  It sounds like you have 5 little bundles of joy to keep you warm as the weather gets colder.  We had a late frost in the Heartland (Kansas City, Missouri) this year.  Birds, raccoons, deer and many other animals don't have the food supply that they would normally have.  We have a heated bird bath out for a water supply and several different feeders.  God blessed those small creatures with you.

Jean,

How wonderful of you to take these kittens in.  It is against the law to move away and leave animals behind to fend for themselves, perhaps these people should have been turned in to the authorities?

God Bless you for your caring and kindness.
