Only Ten Months To Go!

 


Wanna make this your best year yet? Well, get with it! None of us have ever seen a market like this one, but one thing remains constant: change.


What must we do when we encounter change? We must change our own habits, learn new skills, practice real estate in different ways.

 

So… what constants can we hang our hats on, “hard” truths that we can always depend upon?

  • ·         Sellers Need To Sell
  • ·         Buyers Need To Buy
  • ·         A REALTOR® Should Always Add Value To A Transaction

 
So, then… What’s new?


You still have a job to do, representing Buyers and Sellers. But, you may not have the necessary skills. Take a few days, look around you, and see what other successful agents are doing. It’s OK to emulate them. Better yet, think outside the box. Re-educate yourself…
·    Go to school
o    Learn About REOs and Short Sales
o    Learn About New Financing Options (Yes, There Are Some!)
o    Learn to Market In The Social Media Age
o    Leverage a “Smart” Web Site


The main thing is… GET Busy! There Are Only Ten Months Left This Year.


 Of course, there is also 2013, 2014, 2015, etc.

Take control. Lead the pack. But, you must get started… Now.

Great post, Mike! If I don't learn something new each day, it was a wasted day. Agents shouldn't call themselves professionals if they're not committed to improving their knowledge base every day.
