Recently, I began thinking about how slow things can be sometimes... I remember the good ole days when folks were lining up to buy houses even if they couldn't afford them. I ponder sipping lemonade on front porches of those with new keys to their very own homes on a more regular basis. I remember speeding across town with an offer to beat out six other contracts on the table for the perfect home for my buyers...... When my bluetooth was permanently implanted in my ear because of all the phone calls for showings and potential listings. If only things were so simple again. As the rapper Jay-Z once borrowed from Annie, "it is a hard knock life for us". Now back to my point.....
My apologies to those formerly little not so important people in my little black book during the good ole days....
I am sorry I was too busy to call you on a more frequent basis to see how you were doing and how I could help you in the future, I here you found another person to help serve your needs who called, wrote and kept up with your needs even when the market didn't really require us to. I apologize for not showing you that house that I would only make a small commission on and focusing on the bigger client who had more to spend, but I hear your doing quite well for yourself and the other fellow who took the time to show you the smaller house is helping you buy your third upgrade. My guy is bankrupt because he had a interest only loan and an unstable career. I wanted to let you know that when your sister called to look at a house and it took me three days to get back to her, I was very busy and I hope she found what she was looking for. By the way, what was her name again? I am really slow right now and I need to get her number to call her about a nice fixer upper I have had listed for 6 months that I overpriced because I am too afraid to tell the homeowner the truth. I am sitting at my desk now by candle light because I can't afford to leave the lights on too long:)
Yada Yada Yada... on and on.... so forth and so on.... tongue in cheek....lol
Have a nice day and remember to call on the little not so important people this week. They just might like to hear from you. And who knows, maybe they'll even have been wondering where you have been :)
Come join my team we are expanding all over the US and eventually the world! We love the little people!!!
