Are you an animal lover? Do you want to see all kinds of dogs or learn new ways to care for your pet? Come with your pet to the “Convention” of people and their pets at Celebration of Pets Festival in Sarasota FL

Date: February 25, 2012 (Saturday)

Time: 10:00am – 5:00pm

Admission: Free and plenty of free parking

Location: Fruitville Road behind Robarts Arena 3000 Ringling Blvd. Sarasota FL 34237 (Map it)

This fun and well organized event will be enjoyed by your kids and pets. If you are looking for pet products, information or ideas to improve your pet’s health, you will find it among over 150 vendors. Most of the attendees are people with dogs, pet care business’s for pet grooming, and pet shelters.

You will see special events of dogs playing games and challenges .e.g. agility demonstration & lure coursing, dock diving competition, Weare Pole competition and Dachshund racing. There will also be prizes for the dog with the Best costume, most unique mix, best poodle strut and best curls – tiniest and largest.

Are you looking for a dog for adoption? It is available on-site too.

Food and drink are available at Food Court.

Hi Kwee,

I wish I lived near there as I would definitely be attending this event. Sounds like a lot of fun. The dog is adorable too. Is he/she yours? I had a little Miniature Eskimo that looked a lot like this dog but all white and named "Snowy". I loved her so much but I lost her a few years ago at 15 yrs old. She was a wonderful friend and truly misssed.
