The first valley as you approach Hawaii Kai from the Diamond Head direction is Hahaione Valley. The valley is divided into Lower and Upper Hahaione Valley.
Upper Hahaione Valley offers roughly 360 homes, many custom built, which were built predominantly in the 1970′s and 1980′s. With a higher elevation, many homes on the east side of the valley have great views of Koko Head and the ocean. Homes on the west side of the valley have excellent mountain views.
