Holiday House Tours - Nashua New Hampshire

By
Real Estate Agent with BHG The Masiello Group

This is a holiday event I don't want to miss.

The Friends of the Nashua symphony are inviting the public to attend the 21st Annual Holiday House Tour.

You can usher in the season by visiting several homes throughout Nashua, New Hampshire that have been professionally decorated for the holidays.  I have been told that the homes will range from a Victorian to a "green" home which has been remodeled.

The Tour will end with complimentary refreshments, holiday music and a gift boutique at Langdon Place.

Some of the decorators for this year's tour are April Colby of Nashua; Marlene Bennett of Nashua; Tout le Monde Interiors of Bedford; Moose in the Pocket at Moonstone Antiques of Milford;Black Thorne Antiques & Interiors of Nashua and Boyer Interiors of Manchester.

The tours will take place from 12:00 - 4:00 on Saturday December 1st and Sunday, December 2nd.  There will be refreshments and a gift boutique at Langdon Place from 2:00p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

To find out more about the homes on this year's tour or where you can purchase tickets you can call the Nashua Symphony office at 603-595-9156 or you can visit the web site at www.nashuasymphony.org.

Tickets can be purchased in advance for $15.00, or at the time of the tour weekend for $20.00.  The house tour is one of the ways you can get involved with the symphony and chorus.  I am hoping to get some great decorating ideas and also help support the symphony and chorus.

What a wonderful way to get into the spirit of the season and help support our local symphony.

Joan, This sounds like a delightful way to enter into the holiday spirit. Too bad I'm booked all day or I would come over to Nashua for the tours. Enjoy

Joan this sounds like a great way to raise money for the symphony and have a whole lot of fun doing it.  I wish I lived in New Hampshire, I would be there.  It truly sounds lovely.  Enjoy the festivities, and the holidays too.

Joan, sounds like a good time, and an easy way to raise some money.  Also this is great exposure for the house on the tour.

I like the ones where you can drive the driveway and see all the lights. But, I hope everyone has a great time.

Linda  - What is happening in your area for the holidays?  I am sure there are a lot of things going on -- I will see if I am able to take any pictures.  It should be a lot of fun!

Ray  I am really looking forward to seeing how these homes are decorated -- it sounds like this is going to be a lot of fun.  I also love the music this time of year. The symphony is putting on a special holiday pops concert.  I will go over and check out your blog!  Thanks for your comments.

Monika  These house tours are just wonderful.  I also love the music this time of year!  This will certainly get me in the spirit.  I am going to have to work this weekend, but I am going to try to sneak this in between things.

George  It is a great fund-raising event.  It is incredible that a small town like Nashua has its own symphony and chorus -- they really can use the support -- and at the same time it is a lot of fun.

Susan  I like the tours where you can see the lights as well.  It is really beautiful.  I am not aware of that type formal tour in So. New Hampshire, but I am going to have to check into it further.  I was driving around this evening and noticed a lot of Christmas lights and outdoor decorations are starting to show up.

Hi Joan,

We are doing a Winter Wonderland open house in our area.  I did a post on it just recently.  I always look forward to this tree lighting ceremony.  Everyone in town is there.  The streets get roped off and it's just a huge street party.  So much fun.  Thanks for asking.

Hi Joan...Let me know if you managed to make this. It sounds so nice and it's great exposure for the decorators. We had our wreath givaway today and it's supposed to storm tomorrow so I'll be staying home!

Linda  Thanks for the post to the Winter Wonderland link.  I think these are so much fun!  It is great to see a lot of people, homes and get in the spirit for the holidays!

Joan  I had a showings this a.m. and then had forgotten I had to go the the BOD meeting for New England Pet Partners this afternoon.  If the bad weather holds off, I am hoping to go on the tour tomorrow.  If not, I will have to get to work on Christmas cards.
