Rate Freeze?

Heres something interesting I read today. It talks about possible plans that are being discussed for loan servicers to either freeze rates or extend introductory rates on adjustable rate mortgages.  With the amount of ARM's coming due in the next year this could help to stablize the market some. Of course if the introductory rates are extended borrowers will need to get things in order over the next couple of years or be able to refinance.  Click here to see the CNNMoney.com article.
