Wow the interest in KTEC has been overwhelming! They were hoping to have applicants for the 280 spaces that would be available for the September 2012 opening and guess what?! They now have almost 900 applicants! KTEC is now considering the possibility of adding a third shift to accommodate more students. A school of this type is clearly demonstrating that it is a necessity, welcome, and a desired addition for our communities.
If you have not driven by the building site for KTEC, you need to. The steel building structures are taking shape and you will see many people, busy working (this is good for the local economy too). KTEC is located in Rathdrum on the corner of Meyer and Lancaster.
