There's no hiding why I believe that Highlands Ranch is a great place to live, but I'm not the only one who feels that way about the community. Obviously, you may think that I have a biased view point, however, I have plenty of my own good reasons. For instance, the excellent community, open back yards, great school districts and plenty of gorgeous views of the Colorado Rocky Mountains! Also, the location itself allows easy access to so many highways that you could really be in Denver or the foothills in no time at all. I do see that there are some people who aren't willing to settle on my word alone, so I'm going to provide some additional reasons in this blog post.

Highlands Ranch was ranked the twelfth best place to live in the nation and the second best place to live in Colorado. CNN money provided those rankings back in 2010, and they were heavily based on the excellent open space, and recreational activities in the area, as well as the proximity to the mountains. CNN is a trusted news source, and they had a lot of great things to say about the community.

Greatschools.org is a database website that has over 200,000 schools stored with over 800,000 comments from parents from all across the nation. They are a trusted source for both public and private school information. Highlands Ranch, as a community, received a 9 out of 10 rating on the available schools to chose from. That's shows how great of a place it would be to raise a family and really settle in!

Lastly, Highlands Ranch was ranked the "number 3 city on the edge of greatness" by bestplaces.net. Yet another source that really demonstrates how excellent the Highlands Ranch community really is. So, it really isn't just my opinion, but apparently there are a multitude of people who agree. It's a great place to call home, and if you're looking for somewhere awesome in Colorado, Highlands Ranch could be a perfect fit for you!
