Painfully sitting at a red light today, feeling rushed, wanting to get moving, my seven year old said to me, “I know what God is doing right now. He’s slowing us down on purpose.” I love that. I love that He speaks to me through my children. In that moment, the spirit of hurry was gone.
That's so awesome... I love it that you have taught your children about our wonderful God. Many parents have fallen away from this, so congrats on a fantastic job. And hurrying... what's so completely important that we can't slow down. I am the biggest culprit.

What a great thought! I am not sure how I stumbled on your "Inspiration" here but I am glad I did. I spent this week under the weather and did not get much done. I think that was my way of being told to slow down!
