December Rain in the Rockies???

Real Estate Agent with Realty Executives of Durango
I just woke up expecting to find the ground covered in that glorious sparkling white champagne powder...instead I found puddles in my backyard!  This is scary.  Global Warming?  I don't know, but I've NEVER seen rain in December at 7500 ft.  The ski resort got snow  (they are at 9,000 ft) but if I have rain at my house, the snow is probably wet & sticky at the resort.  Yikes!  I'm thankful for the moisture, but I'd much rather have the snow to play in.  Looks like I'm not putting my bike away anytime soon.  I'm sure the builders will be happy that they can continue working without snow.  Maybe this is some sort of sign that our new construction will be completed by the new year.

Sorry to hear that you didn't get snow. I hope you get some before January as I am traveling to Vail for some Skiing.
