It's been very many years since I had a truly white Christmas. Living in Florida and working for Corporate Retail Companies you really never get a chance to enjoy your holidays. So now I have my Real Estate career to thank, when I have a chance to finally plan my own schedule and definitely fit a vacation. So this year we went to Lake Tahoe, California, for skiing adventure with a few friends of ours. It may sound not significant to people who live in 4 seasons locations, but for Floridian who didn't see the snow in years it's a big deal. I can't begin to describe the beauty of this place, snowy mountains, clouds, snow covered trees and the beautiful house we are staying in. It's truly a paradise for skiing and snowboarding. Amazingly enough my skiing skills came back to me pretty quickly and I wiped out just a few times. No bruises or broken limbs ... yet.
Having a couple of small children with us we couldn't afford to have no Christmas Tree up and decorated, so we've bought it here along with decorations that were available in grocery store, whatever was still there. Hold your breath here... It turned out to be the ugliest tree I've ever seen. We couldn't get angel or star for the top of it, so you can see here on the picture what we've put on..... Ribbit....
The beautiful house we are staying in
SNOW....so cool for Florida person.
Sleigh ride up the mountain. Beautiful Lake Tahoe on the background.
We really enjoy ourselves here and even thinking of buying a vacation property here. Thinking of this, I just happen to have a listing here just 5 miles away from our home due to ILS program , so on this note I think I will go and visit it.
