Happy Holidays from Help-U-Sell North Metro, Alpharetta GA

Real Estate Agent with GA-agent.com

It's Christmas Eve...soon to be the year 2007. My first year in Real Estate has been interesting to say the least. My "career" in Real Estate could have been just as I had just wrote it: a "career" in quotation marks because my first attempt at working for a name brand broker soon after I was licensed was unsuccessful. I was with the firm for 6 months and accomplished zilch. I retreated back to my advertising sales experience and worked for a small company selling ads in a local yellow page directory. It was a paycheck, 100% more money than I was making at my first brokerage. Very soon after I was with the yellow page company I got that sinking feeling of "been here, done this"...So I quit...To mine, my wife, even my parents dismay I quit and I broke the cardinal rule of quitting any job - don't quit until you have something else lined up!

But, something in the back of mind my mind kept telling me "you've worked so hard to get that license, and passing the state exam on your first try is a great accomplishment...why not try again?"

So I did...and thankfully found a wonderful bunch of people at Help-U-Sell North Metro in Alpharetta Georgia. We're a small crew, only four of us...not like the name brand broker who seemed more concerned with a "number of new agents this week" count than my personal success as a newbie. But I like it that we're small, we've become almost like a family...and I'm sure my colleages would agree.

I've gained more experience since June of this year in processing, executing and understanding real estate transactions than (I'm sure) 90% of the newbies in my shoes would have. I work with an office that, in a very short period of time, has defined my future Real Estate direction and become a part of me. I feel like it's my company in way...that's how much I care about the people and the future sucess of Help-U-Sell North Metro.

So, from all of us

Cindy Holeva, Ron King, Shirley Lewis and myself James Coogan:

Have a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year. May 2007 be your best year ever...in Real Estate and Family.
