Cathy, that is exactly what happened in the counties just south of Atlanta -- industry moved and took the jobs with it, or some others just folded due to the economy. But with the expansion of the airport and a few major businesses considering moving this way, things may turn around soon. Here's hoping.
I'm sorry to hear about the sales prices still spiraling down. One of the things that happend during the recession is job relocations so some markets lost buyers and that might be a cause too. This is fortunate for buyers for now to get it while it is good, because at some point it time the market will stablize and they will reap the benefit. Nice report.
