And what to my wandering eyes should appear.....

SNOW!!  SNOW!! Glorious snow.  All that moaning and groaning I did yesterday.  I really thought the winter season was done for.  What a wonderful surprise to find out the ski resort got over 3 feet of champagne powder.  The snowflakes are the size of potato chips and I can not wait to get out and play in it.  The trees are flocked and the coffee shops are packed with the skiers heading up to the resort for the FIRST DAY OF THE SEASON!!  It's like they always say, " If you don't like the weather in Colorado, wait 5 minutes ".

Jackie, SNOW is beautiful.   Colorado is a beautiful state anyway with all the mountains.  Snow  in our part of Texas is non-existent...we think it snows if it falls from the sky and melts before it hits the ground. Enjoy it for me.

We get snow here. Not of course like you. But it is a pleasant reminder of living in the North

About 5 years ago, my husband and I contemplated a move to Durango.  We love the area, and we have family that lives in Farmington, NM.  Very pretty in the winter there!
