Outlet Mall Slated for Dev. in Mohave County, Az.

Developer Ronald Loveall of GV 566, LLC is planning to put an outlet mall, warehousing, small manufacturing and retail pads on a 367-acre property on U.S. 93 just north of Mineral Park Road.
The proposal will be reviewed by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission when it meets at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the County Administration Building, 700 W. Beale St.
The request calls for a minor amendment to the General Plan, a rezoning and a zoning use permit for commercial development on both sides of Highway 93 north of Mineral Park Road.
According to background information from the P&Z department, the amendment would change the land use designation in the area from rural development area to urban development area, general commercial.
The rezoning request would change it from 10-acre minimum agricultural/ residential and recreational to general commercial, general commercial highway frontage and commercial manufacturing all 36-acre minimums. The zoning use permit is for a 360,000-gallon water storage tank for the property.
Also Wednesday, the Hualapai Valley Fire department will ask the county to slice a one-acre parcel off of a larger 22-acre parcel in order to put a new station there. The parcel is located 1.8 miles west of the intersection of Hackberry Road and Highway 66.
According to background information from the P&Z department, the proposed fire station will service approximately 25 to 30 square miles in the area. The next closest station is located five miles away in Valle Vista.

Also on Wednesday's agenda:

· In the Golden Valley area, three requests for extensions of time, three rezoning requests and one zoning use permit.· A request for a zoning use permit for an aircraft landing strip near Bogles Ranch and Wagon Bow Ranch roads.In the Kingman area, a request for a minor amendment to the General Plan, a request for a minor amendment to the North Kingman Area Plan and a zoning use permit.· A request to consider raising fees for the Mohave County Land Division Department.· A revision of the non-residential subdivision regulations.
