Realtors in top tier of job satisfaction ranking

By
Real Estate Agent

Recently, Russell Shaw pointed out that Real Estate agents are considered by the Harris Poll to be at the bottom of the most prestigious occupations.  While you may think that those at the bottom would have low self esteem, not so according to Time Magazine which ranks Real Estate Brokers in the top tier of those most happiest with their job (ranked #18, with 45.29% saying they were "very happy").  We were ahead of athletes and school teachers.  The bottom? Gas station attendants.  My job satisfaction comes from experiences like this one.

nice story. thanks for sharing. i love what i do too. check out my blog and see why. today it's snowing hard. i am warn and toasty with the wood stove glowing hot and the view from my home office window is just amazing...apple orchards, horse pasture, and plenty of mountians. you would think i am just relaxing. not really. working from home today gives me a chance to update all of my listings with the new snowy pics i took of them yesterday and create some new text to enhance the listings for buyers.

Thanks, Trevor.  I also prefer to work from home, although in AZ, not quite the winter scene you paint.  But I can step out to the spa in my backyard and contemplate my marketing strategies :).
