Alecia Barnes tagged me last night and wanted to know what I was reading.  For me I spend hours upon hours on the web.  It is without a doubt one of my biggest information resources.  Sometime though if I need a little inspiration or I need to just be good to myself.  I'll pick up one of my favorite books.

For me I gravitate to many of my old books, its not that I am not open or would not consider reading something else.  I buy books regularly but the books on this list.. some have been in my library for over 10 years now.  Regardless of what is going on in my life, I can flip to a page or even a section and it will be beneficial to me today.  So here are my 5 favorite books...

How to Stop Worrying And Start Living - Dale Carnegie-To me one of the best books I have ever read.  It's not that I worry so much but big concerns can drive a person crazy.  One of the techniques I learned in this book...Is it gonna kill you?  What's the worst thing that could happen?  In any situation its helpful and has helped me overcome and manage my way through some huge obstacles.  I recommend this book to everyone!

You'll See It When You Believe It: The Way to Your Personal Transformation-Wayne W. Dyer -This is one of my old faithful books.  We hear so much in life we can't do this, we can't do that! You have the naysayer's and the know it alls. The reality is we can achieve anything but it starts within ourselves...a true belief in ourselves.

Succulent Wild Woman-Sark-Yup that is the title and what an incredible read.  You got it, it's about being a woman and having a wonderful life with or without a mate. This book is extremely entertaining and I love the fact its about living life and enjoying your life...even if there are occasions you have to do it solo! The message...You gotta love yourself before someone else can!

Lists To Live By-The First Addition-This book is nothing but practical advice on life. Real Life, thought provoking and a reality check.  Lists to be better parents, stronger marriages, better business, very thought provoking and it will really stimulate your mind.

The Instant Millionaire: A Tale of Wisdom and Wealth-One of my all time favorite business books.  This book taught me courage and its a great reminder if you want business...all you have to do is ask for it..in this instance in talks about being a millionaire...its a great story and reads very easy.  Every now and then I go back and read certain sections.

These are my steady's, you know my regulars..the ones that get me back on track and moving forward...and keep me inspired. Now let's see....whose turn is it?

I'm currently reading Dale Carnegie's other book, "How to Win Friends & Influence People." The one you have listed here looks like a great read also and I can think of someone to gift it to :)

The principals never change.  The classics will never be outdated.  Others will just write the same stuff with new creative angles.
