Pending Home Sales Are On the Rise - Up 8.0% From Last Year

The National Association of Realtors has reported that January 2012 pending home sales are up 2% from December, and a full 8.0% from January 2011.

The report states “the January index is the highest since April 2010 when it reached 111.3 as buyers were rushing to take advantage of the home buyer tax credit.”
