BPO's are on the rise!

We were asked recently by our client how many BPO's could we do.  We told them we could do at least 15.  We were sent 16 altogether.  The properties were located in Wake, Durham, and Franklin Counties.  BPO's are simple.  They help me to better serve my buyers and sellers, because it is good training.  I feel very confident when doing my CMA for sellers or helping buyers with price.  Because I've been doing them for quite some time, it doesn't take that long.  But the recent orders have kept us very busy.  We do them hoping to generate more business.  Watch out for the companies that aren't looking to send you listings.  They are interested in the value of their properties.  For each BPO they will pay anywhere from $50 to $75.  I live in North Carolina and the bank-owned properties have doubled in some areas.  After having received 16 BPO's it leads me to wonder just how true that might be.
