Even though Mrs. Avery is gone she is still with you.  She is still a very important part of your life.  We all needed a Mrs. Avery in our life.  You were fortunate enough to have her.

Ok, I couldn't read the letter you wrote her because I was already starting to tear up.  It sounds like she was your angel.

Elizabeth - Mrs. Avery is all around you.  You can rest assured that she has taken many forms over the years, but she has never left you.  She must have been one heckuva lady, because the influence she had one you has produced one heckuva woman.  GBY!

Oh Elizabeth. how precious this woman was.  She made a huge difference in your life and that will continue all of your life.  That was a wonderful letter.  I had a teacher in he 9th grade who made a huge difference in my life, Mr. Carter. I just loved him. The reunion in heaven will be blessed. God bless.

Wow.  That is basically all I can type.  What an amazing lady she must have been and you have so clearly become.  Believe me, she is proud, and you should be as well.

Elizabeth, I think she read it.  And heard you.  God would have made sure of it.  

In our lifetimes there are people who are our "angels".  Mrs. Avery was one of yours.  How very touching that you not only hold her dear in your heart, but that you named your daughter after her.    

How absolutely beautiful.   God you're killin' me over here on a cold Wednesday morning now having to explain to my staff why I am crying.

Elizabeth-This will make the 4th time I have attempted to read this post for 2 days now and how truly grateful I am to have made it through.  As the tears have welled up in my eyes I can only think of that beautiful woman, Mrs. Avery who helped my friend. What an angel she is and God knows that we all have needed you Elizabeth.  You are a light to goodness in all of our souls.  He has made it possible for this experience to travel all over the world and to touch so many hearts along the way.  I have grasped a hold of this beautiful, precious story and your friendship and will treasure that forever.  Thank you so much for this incredible gift.  I love you dearly my friend and don't ever hold back on us.  Many blessings to you!

Elizabeth, You were so blessed to have someone like Ms. Avery in your life and to have keepsake letters like that. I keep a box of old letters.. Just a few from friends and family when I was away at school..I get so teary eyed when I open them, all my family is gone and a memory misses only enough to make you cry.

Elizabeth, that is a beautiful testimony to how someone can change the path of another's life just by caring and believing in them.  It is kinda sorta like what we do everytime we invest ourselves into the lives of our Clients and help them reach their dreams of homeownership. Whether you realize it or not, you are carrying on the work she started. Thank you for the post!  It is beautiful!

How special that you had someone that for a period of time was put in your path to encourage you to be the person that she saw in you.

Oh,Gosh....I'm so sorry to hear that....how she was gone.

Such a tragedy!

But it was a blessing to know her, she will always live in your heart and your memories.

It is amazing what an impact adults have on us when we're young. What a treasure.
