'Tis the Season to be Grateful

Today, I thought I would take time away from real estate to send a friendly message about this special time of year.

Here it is again, the holiday season!! It seems like Christmas and the New Year come around quicker and quicker each year(I think this comes with getting older). This is one of my favorite times of the year. It is a season of celebration and reflection for me, as I tend to remember the Christmas' of my younger years with my family. Where does the time go? It seems like yesterday when I got a new train set and a really neat Hot Wheels Race Track set from my parents for Christmas. Almost 40 years later and I still remember that Christmas day.

Okay, too deep, I know. Like I said, this is a special time of year for me and I just wanted to share it. I am sure everyone who reads this, has had a special moments they tend to think about during this wonderful time of the year. It really is a time to reflect and be thankful for the people who are placed in our lives to bless us.

I want to wish all of my colleagues, friends, family and extended family a safe, wonderful and blessed holiday season.

Merry Christmas to you too Tony!  The years do go by faster when we are older....not only do I look back on special Christmas's with my parents and siblings, but then there are the Christmas' with my children.  They all hold such special memories.

Hi Jonathan. Our market in DFW is fairing much better than most other major cities in the U.S. We did see an impact from the mortgage crisis and there are a lot of foreclosures on the market, however, we are still seeing an increase in home prices over last year's numbers, based on the latest media reports. I had a great summer and September was great, then, October dried up so fast it wasn't even funny. Now, I am really busy again, with 4 buyer contracts executed in the last 2 weeks. Seems like the buyers are starting to come back out again. I guess they are getting past the negative media reports. We'll see how the new year goes.
