A while back I recommended the Leadership Secrets of the Rogue Warrior, by Richard Marcinko. I finished going through the Rogue Warriors Strategy For Success, also by Richard Marcinko. Mr. Marcinko is an ex Navy Seal Commander and counter terrorist expert. He also writes other non fiction as well as fictionalized stories based on the Navy Seals.
The two book on business are similarly put together. He has written down his rules of business, or in the case of Strategy for Success, his 5 logical stages to success of any project. As you read the book you may be tempted to think that it is written only for managers or business owners trying to start up or get a business going. I found a lot of information that I believe that will really help in establishing a successful Real Estate career.
I love the examples from the military and from the business world that he uses to illustrate his points. I also found his ideas on being successful to be helpful. For example, the first sentence of Chapter 1 is What is your goal for today? He asks you to be as speciific as possible about it. That is really all of the book that I am going to give away. I know that he can be somewhat politically incorrect, and crude, but he does get his points across.
I really believe that what he teaches in the book are beneficial to building a successful business in Real Estate. I find his writing style to be mostly enjoyable and the book is a quick read. Go ahead and check it out!
