I was just wondering how some Realtors can break any Ethics or Real Estate Commission rules and come out smelling like a rose?
Are all states governed by a Real Estate Commission Board?

We have at least on Realtor that walks a fine line. The person has been reported, lost license (was broker), been re-enstated and is still in business. Fair, probably not.
From my impression, at least with clients, by the time they get through with the process (assuming it closes) they didn't want to deal with any complaints/court hassles. Most of the time it was such a fine line (still not right).
I have found this "type" does not like confrontations and will use intimidation to it's fullest. I found if I stand my ground, state the facts and not back down - they usually do. Bottom line, this type is only out for one thing - their commission. The one agent I'm thinking of specifically really doesn't care about the clients needs. Somehow, they stay afloat and even some clients still go back (trust me most clients stop talking to this agent before settlement).
Judi,
This sounds just like the Realtor in my County. The Client just does not want to deal with filing complaint.
But complaints have been filed and he gets away with it any way.
He forges documents and does any thing to get come out winning.
The State Real Estate Commission just lets him get away with it.
WHY !!!!!
Thanks for leaving a response.
