Today I was going to relax a few hours....Yea Right!

Amen, Sister!!!  People think being a Realtor is all lunches and dinners and tons of fun.  And yes - we all have those times but there are also times when we work hard and never get a paycheck.  No deal is ever done until the closing is complete. 

Hi Kim:  The first commandment for women in real estate is... never answer your cell phone while you're getting your hair done.  I get my hair done twice a week.  It is my therapy.  I don't need to get my hair done twice a week, but it's such cheap therapy, that I do it mostly to relax.  Looking my best is a plus, but the main reason is "therapy."  I relax, I get a nice person to shampoo my hair, and then my hairdresser takes over.

If you had not answered that phone... and if you had not talked to your seller until after the other agent called you with the acceptance, things might have turned out differently.  My suggestion for next time ?  Finish getting your hair done... it is your time !  You deserve it.

I feel your pain. Sometimes the emotional roller-coaster causes us to stand on pins and needles.

There are certain times I do not answer my cell phone, during meals, during prayers and family time . I check my messages as soon as possible.
