Where were you on the "Day of Infamy"?
For those of us who can remember, let's hear from you.
I was at the "Polo Grounds" in New York, watching a football game between the "New York Giants" and the "Brooklyn Dodgers". Half way through the third quarter announcements were coming over the loud speakers, asking for Admiral so and so to call his office, General so and so." call your office", the Washington correspondent of the "NY Times", call your office, and other calls in this vein. After the game was over, listening to the radio in the car, we learned that Pearl Harbor had been bombed. With this news the world as we new it had changed.
