Well, almost. Yesterday he actually said in a CNBC interview that he would buy houses by the hand-full. Buffett says that real estate is a better place to put money than other investments. "I would say the single-family homes are cheap now," says Buffett to Becky Quick. He goes on to say, "I had a way of buying a couple hundred thousand single-family homes, ..." he'd do it. If the Oracle of Omaha is saying this publicly, he's been saying it privately for awhile.
