Don't miss the chance to be entertained a true storyteller. For a truly novel and delightful holiday event, this is your chance for some old-fashioned, low-tech, high-quality fun!
Reknowned North Carolina storyteller Donald Davis, who has won at least 28 awards for his books and oral presentations, will be appearing at the Barn at Fearrington Village on December 15th at 11am.
Mr Davis was born in Waynesville, North Carolina, in the Great Smoky mountains. A Methodist minister in High Point for 20 years before turning to storytelling, he has become immensely popular. He tours the US for 10 months every year, making around 300 appearances at festivals, schools and libraries. He's been showcased on ABC Nightline, NPR and CNN.
Audiences are enthralled and delighted by his stories - and by his 10 published books and CDs. Mr.Davis now gives seminars on the art of storytelling as well. There are more details on Mr. Davis' own website http://www.ddavisstoryteller.com/
