The 19th Annual Weeki Wachee Swamp Fest will be held
Saturday, March 3th from 9 am to 5 pm and
Sunday, March 4th from 9 am to 4 pm
The Weeki Wachee Swamp Fest offers fun for the whole family! In addition to the various entertainment by local bands and clubs, this year, the Weeki Wachee Swamp Fest will also feature a taste of an old fashioned carnival!
The carnival will kick off Swamp Fest on Friday, March 2nd and be open from 4 pm to 9 pm. Saturday and Sunday, the Carnival will be open until 10 pm.
The event includes over 150 vendors and local organizations showing off their work and activities. One of the main attractions is the annual costume contest for the best Swamp Monster!
And let's not forget food! Whether you like to play it safe or love a culinary adventure, the food vendors at Swamp Fest will fit the bill!
The two day festival will be held at Linda Pedersen Park, located at 6300 Shoal Line Blvd. between Hernando Beach and Weeki Wachee, Florida.
Look for additional parking in Hernando Beach and on Cortez Blvd in Weeki Wachee, where you can catch a free shuttle ride to the Swamp Fest.
Residents in the waterfront communities of Hernando Beach and Weeki Wachee, Florida know of the increase in traffic on this weekend and there will be many yard sales in the area this weekend. So, if you love yard saling and don’t want to pass up an opportunity for a good bargain, here is another reason to visit Hernando Beach and Weeki Wachee this weekend!
Entry fee is $3.00 per person, free admission for children under 12. The proceeds will benefit three local community organizations, Weeki Wachee Area Club, Weeki Wachee Crime Watch, and the Hernando Environmental Land Protectors.
