So Where Have All The Homes Gone? Fullerton Real Estate - A Serious Shortage!

By
Real Estate Agent with Prudential California Realty

Same ol' song and dance; where are all the Fullerton homes for sale?  I am so tiered of asking the question of where are all the homes? Just when I thought it couldn't get worse; it did, much worse.

We have been averaging about 400 - 500 homes for sale in Fullerton, give or take. I really started looking at the stats recently and noticed something, we are losing on average about 1.5 homes a day. As of today, February 28, 2012, we hve 221 homes on the market. On Sunday, February 26, we had 239. At the beginning of the monty, we had 279.  We have lost about 40 this month. Why? What is happening. Inventory should be increasing right now, not decreasing.

Hi Cristal. I am noticing the same situation. I have qualified buyers with no homes to sell them.

Hi Crystal!
I just wrote a post about the same thing.  Sacramento has less than 2 months of inventory.  I think a combination of sellers not being able to sell, or thinking that it is still a buyers market is putting a damper on them putting their homes on the market.  It is crazy!
