Hi there, I get a few questions every now again through email regarding the Dewey Color Consultant Course, I thought a few of you might be interested in a "sneak peek" of DAY 1 for the Dewey Color Consultant Course. The course is shown presented by the DCC Program Director, Margi Kyle and introduced by Dewey Sadka himself. I love talking color, and I know many of you do as well, so check this out, maybe it will inspire you to explore color more fully than you ever have before.

I have been training the Dewey System Color Consultant Course for a year now, and I have to say, I am more excited then ever for the 2008 seminar and program.

There will be a different class structure with different pricing options, for those who just wish to become certified using the COORDINATOR. the add on Color Consultant Certification is still available too.

Have a Colorful Day!

Juliana ~ Thanks for this, I am going to take the sneak peek.  I love color too.  I've been thinking about taking this course for several months now, except that there is no one in my area conducting it (I would have to travel).  They don't happen to have a webinar type course for this by any chance?

Kathy, Your welcome!

RE: (I would have to travel)-- I know, travel is a big issue. I took my original training in Atlanta (I'm in Seattle) talk about jet lag!

Some of the DCI's do travel to present a seminar-training course if there is an organized group of at least 6 or so, maybe that is a possibility, feel free to contact me, or another DCI. Sorry, there is not a webinar available, in the course we do hands-on work with color that we need to all be present for. (It is even a bigger part of my 2008 course, because I feel it is SO important, and I have got a lot of feedback from seminar participants who are now consultants that agree!)

Julianna thanks for the sneak peak. I don't know anything about the Dewey training other than a number of people are Consultants. Color is the one issue many of us are the least confident about.

I don't doubt this course would be beneficial to me!

Dawn, You are welcome!

You may want to talk to the trainer you contacted, as that trainer may offer a seperately priced, 1 Day course without the certification for individuals who arent at the consultant level. Some trainers prefer to accept only current professionals with business training into the 2 day course, because it does move quickly and was created to supplement a proefessional's decorating and design credentials for business. There are a lot of Dewey Books available check out http://www.deweycolorsystem.com They will not teach you specifics on how to be a consultant however. Best wishes!
