Isn't Real Estate a Home Based Business Anyway?

I can safely say that opinions of home based business (HBB) prior to 2008 were, well, not so great.   The funny thing is, real estate is just like having a HBB - it's independent personal sales efforts and team building while helping others. The differences being that real estate usually doesn't provide dual cash flows, the ability to retire, & is considerably more expensive to operate.  After watching the stock market crash, 401Ks becoming 201Ks, and jobs vanishing like a Houdini trick, I think most people have come to realize that HBB were the smart ones, taking charge of their financial future. In fact, look around at people's cars and you can't miss the pluretha of advertising - and real estate car wraps look the same as HBB car wraps.

Isn't Real Estate a Home Based Business Anyway?

I was never one of those people who looked down on HBB but as a well educated, corporate minded individual a home based business just didn't seem like a good fit for me. After being in real estate and understanding that residential or commercial is truly just like a home based business - independent marketing efforts - I started to explore this option a couple years ago.

How cool is it thatI found something that parallels what I already do - real estate? My product offerings provide real estate solutions to every day problems that we encounter - stinky houses, high electric bills, & bad tasting water. Even better, there's a ping-pong effect; I get new leads from the product users and the real estate clients become product users.

Aren't We Supposed To Be Networking Anyway?

Now that I have some up and going with a team of 20+ peopole I'm ready to talk about it. I'm a see it to believe it kind of person & I do have a reputation to protect.

I know  you're saying, hey, wait, I'm reading this but I don't want to buy any. Okay, cool, but isn't it wise to keep an open mind and let it sink in a bit before making a decision? I didn't make an overnight decision, nor should you.

The primary purpose of this blog is to put the word out there that I have some products that will help you sell more real estate. And, if by discovering that you too could build a retirement fund or just love the products and want to buy them at wholesale, then so beit, take the plunge.

Hi Jerry! Since I am a customer of my own products lets schedule an appointment to come by my house. I'll call you.

PS - By HBB I mean real estate is a belly to belly business, not like McDonald's, a private school, a bank, dry cleaner, etc. Othere xamples of HBB models are insurance, direct tv, & financial planning. Direct to the consumer. Exceptions in real estate include a property manager who is employed by a company and receives a salary. Not too common.

Hi Kathy,  I too am curious of your offering.  I have an open mind and I do run a HBB being my brokerage. I have done the whole brick and mortar thing. I cut my overhead dramatically and still just as productive and maybe more so.

Hi  John & Debb - I'll call and set up times to talk on this. Thanks for being open minded. It may be for you, and maybe not. At the least the products will help you sell more homes. It's been good for me on stinky homes.
