The internet and even the news program tonight is talking about the life of David Jones who died today of a heart attack after visiting his horses in Florida. My condolences go out to his family and friends.
I know he had a long term career in music, movies and television. But to me, first and foremost, he will always be part of the The Monkees.
Okay, I will admit it. I was a fan and just like every other young girl, I had a huge crush on Davy Jones. The Monkees were the American "Beatles". The music was up beat and fun. And who could ever forget about the TV program either.
When I think of Davy Jones and The Monkees, I have many favorite songs but two of my favorite songs are "I Wanna Be Free" and "Look Out, Here Comes Tomorrow".
It just proves the point, that you never know what will happen tomorrow.
Thank you Davy Jones, for all of the music and memories.
