If you are looking for a fun outing for the whole family, stop by the Point Vicente Interpretive Center and enjoy “Whale Of A Day” activities. This is a popular annual event for Palos Verdes homes owners and their neighbors throughout the South Bay. The City of Rancho Palos Verdes, and the docents of Los Serenos de Point Vicente sponsor this event and it is free to the public. The festival celebrates the migration of the Pacific Gray Whale from its summer feeding grounds in the Bering and Chuchki Seas in Alaska to its calving grounds in Baja, California.
