March 1.....In like a Lion....and
we are Hoping Out Like a Lamb....

As many of you, we have had a very mild winter...

But alas...it is March 1st....

And living up to the saying....In Like a Lion...and o Backyad Nampa Idaho ut like a Lamb...

In Nampa Idaho we woke up to snow....

And now it is snowing harder than when I took the first picture...

But the snow should let up by 11 am....
according to our local weathermen who are always right!!!

I will admit that I don't mind a bit of snow....it is actually pretty...and a bit of a novelty as Nampa only gets 10-12 inches of precipitation per year....

Snow Nampa Idaho I just don't like dealing with other drivers out there.....who don't know how to drive in the snow!!!

I am looking forward to the spring weather ...and all of the spring flowers....

So here is hoping that the Lamb chooses to come visit us sooner than later!!!

Yup, we are in for a full day of snow here...right on schedule. The authorities are just asking everyone to stay in. I can always get around in my Ford Bronco no matter how much snow we get, but I have to agree with you about driving around those that aren't experienced in the snow. I'm hoping for the whole "out like a lamb" thing too. ...maybe an early spring?

No snow here on LI but you are right I am so ready for Spring. Maybe because it was so mild, I keep thinking it is around the corner but then again March is weird.

Kristen...that would be nice wouldn't it?? I am not holding out hope....but do know that we shouldn't get much snow...but probably quite a bit of cool days and some rain!!!

Dan...I am ok with Fair weather! LOL We have good roads today so all is good!!!

Q...I hear you ....we were with out much moisture this fall and it really hurt...and actually didn't get any snow to speak of til the end of January!!!!
