What to do when you wake up to find you have NO Water!

This morning, my husband woke me up bright (actually dark) & early to inform me we have no water!  Don't panic yet, we had enough bottled water to  make a pot of coffee (we have our priorities).

Once the sun came up, we headed outside to make sure the Well Pump was getting electricity to it, and it was.  So what does one do?

If you live in the Carteret County, North Carolina area, You call Admiral Plumbing!  Unfortunately, we had to call them a few years ago when our pipes were cracked to the well.  We had to call them again after returning home from our Hurricane Irene evacuation, and of course, we called them at 7 am this morning when we found out about our situation.  Someone was here by 8:30 am, and temporarily got our pump to work.  We are expecting severe thunderstorms any minute now, so it may be this afternoon before they can repair all that needs to be repaired.

Are they the best plumbers around?  Are they the cheapest?  I don't really know, but I do know that they have always provided us with honest & fast & Dependable service, and I will always call the guys at Admiral Plumbing First!  Thanks Guys!

Amy - Glad you've got some water even if it's only temporary!  With the tornadoes here last night we filled the bathtub and several buckets in anticipation of the power going out.  Fortunately, it never did.  Guess I'll wash the dog!

It is so nice to have vendors you can trust. Not only personally but that you can refer to your clients. Hope you didn't have to shower prior to 8:30.....or did you have that many bottles of water? :)

Shar - No, didn't get my shower in time this morning!  The good news is that as of 30 minutes ago, the pump, the valves & the tank have all been replaced and our water is back on!  Now.... looking forward to laundry, dishes and a long, hot bath! Thanks Admiral Plumbing!

You know Amy, lately I've been overwhelmed with the quality of care and service we've seen from so many of our support folks.  I'm thinking that during the challenging times we've had in recent years, the "not so great" folks have gone away leaving us with the cream of the crop.  Knowing who to call and who you can trust is priceless.  Great post.

Amy, peace of mind and good service don't have a price. Just knowing that if you have a problem and they come over to fix it promptly is worth what ever they charge.

Amy, We have a house in Italy all the way up in the mountains, we do not get well, or even public water to it, we have a tank that needs to be filled. Yes, we have been without water, when my husband forgot to check and see it was running low. There was no calling the plumber, we had to wait for a truck to deliver water. In the meantime, we had the boys use the woods to go to the bathroom. LOL

Amy, I had to take cold showers last year when the tornadoes hit and left us without power for a week....oh what fun!  This is a great endorsement of a local company and other companies should take notice that good service and workmanship equals repeat calls and loyal customers.

I've always maintained that it doesn't matter if they're the best or least expensive. If they're good and reliable, then they get my vote. Sounds like Admiral Plumbing does just that for you guys.
