Interesting that they want you to bring your social security card.  I have never in my life seen my social security card!  Never needed to use it or show it.

Good morning Debbie,

There are jobs out there. Jay you better find your social security card or apply for a new one..if you let your driver's license you need one and increasingly for many things..not a bad thing.

Never seen it, never needed it, don't see a need to get one!  The Social Security rules still say that it is only needed for social security purposes and for nothing else.

If you think I am going to let a state, any state, record my social number, think again.  They have NO need for it.

And having one proves nothing.  Any dope can get one, often from other people!

Jay - It's interesting...but I think this is for kids who may not have their driver's license yet.

Dorie - Oh good pt...I need to renew mine later this year.

Janis - No, it's still here...they just seem to be losing lots of money for the county.  Weird.

Jay - Good pts.  But, I may get one when I'm much older...just in case.  (I agree w/ keeping the info safe)

Excellent for young adults and the "on the spot" interviews will speed up the hiring process.
