(THAT'S ME ON THE RIGHT, IN THE ORANGE JACKET!)

This part of the San Juan River is considered a Class III, in terms of difficulty.
(intermediate). From start to finish this is the most fun on a River you can have!
(Unless you were trolling with a fishing pole, of course...)
If you’re here on vacation, there is an abundance of things to do when visiting Pagosa
Springs. The knowledgeable and friendly staff at Pagosa Outside will provide the items
needed for some of your adventures, if you didn’t bring them. They’re online at.

Pagosa Springs, Colorado is just west of the Continental Divide on Highway 160 in the
Southwest corner of the State. Surrounded by National Forest, The Largest Wilderness
Area in the State and home to some of the “Fourteeners” List of Colorado's Fourteeners
it’s easy to see why many return time and time again.

Pagosa is a great place to visit. The scenery is wonderful and there is a lot to do. After a day of enjoying your favorite outdoor activity, you also have the hot springs to relax in and unwind.
