We have so much to offer here in Brevard County. It is no wonder that so many people want to move and retire here. For those of you who are not familiar with our area, I want to try to paint you a picture. We have the incredible Indian and Banana Rivers. It is common place to see colorful sailboats traveling the Indian River or people having fun on their jet skis. Then there are the dolphins, which are amazing on their own. You can take a scenic drive down the Indian River or walk down the boardwalk at the Cocoa Village Park and watch the dolphins play. Even my daughters' orthodontist office has floor to ceiling windows that look out onto Sykes Creek. One minute she is choosing the colors for her braces, the next everyone stops what they are doing to watch the dolphins play.

There is a little area near the Merritt Island Airport that my family and I visit to watch manatees. They seem to always be there enjoying the year round warm weather.
We do not want to forget Cocoa Beach. The feeling of the sand between your toes and the sound of the ocean waves is so amazing. It is so much fun watching the cruise ships come into Port Canaveral, not to mention being on one. For those of you who have never experienced watching fireworks launched from a barge over the ocean, it is simply spectacular. Cocoa Beach is also home of the world famous Ron Jon's store and complex.
Shuttle launches, can be seen from the majority of homes, businesses and schools in Central and North Brevard. In between launches, the Kennedy Space Center is a great place to visit!
When I started writing this I realized how good I have it. I should not take for granted the place that I live or how fortunate I am to be Realtor in a place that has so much to offer. Yes, it is a wonderful life!!
