starbucks logoYesterday, I found myself at Starbucks in between appointments...what else is new?

 

This Starbucks was one I don't frequent that often because they don't have a free parking lot (and I keep running out of quarters).  So, I pulled in yesterday, and I was about to make a quick phone call, and the car next to me "lightly" beeped.  I could tell, it was a nice beep.

 

He said, "I'm about to leave and I have 46 minutes left on my meter.  So if you want, pull into my space."  I was thrilled.  He made my day.  Yes, there are nice people out there and these little gestures can really make your day.

Hooray for small acts of kindness! That guy definitely has some good karma coming his way. The most fun part, in my opinion, is the moment when you pay it forward for the next person - however you do it!

Hey Debbie...thanks for sharing such a positive experience.  I'm one of those overly nice types who does the cute toot and beep and let's people take the tail end of my meter change.  We're the one's who see a meter about to expire next to the one we're filling and put a quarter in to save someone a ticket.  It's Karma, baby.  Glad you got the benefit and you deserve it!

Ed - No,...I'm afraid I'm going to get a ticket by forgetting to put money in the meter.  Some are only good for 1 hour...and yes, I have forgotten and gotten tickets.
