Sheffield Woods Wellington FL Real Estate Market Trends 2002-2011

Sheffield Woods is one of the most desirable condo communities in Wellington Florida.  From 1981 to 1985 a total of 192 condos were built in Sheffield Woods, which feature first and second floor condos.

Like other communities throughout Wellington Florida property value increased at a rapid rate in Sheffield Woods and reached it's peak in 2005 with a median sale price of $200,000.  Since 2007 property value in Sheffield Woods has been decreasing, but condos continue to sell.  In fact as of February 2012 Sheffield Woods is a SELLER'S MARKET
, which means there are more home buyers than condos for sale in Sheffield Woods.

The above graph displays Sheffield Woods sales for 2002 to 2011.  The dark purple shows the number of condos sold while the light purple shows the median condo sales price for that particular year.

As of today there are only two condos for sale in Sheffield Woods starting at $84,000 up to $95,000.

Michelle, Good to see a seller's market, but that drop in value from the peak is pretty harsh.  Worst case around here is about 20% off peak values, but of course we never had much run up in values either.

Michelle - Having Sheffield Woods moving solidly into a sellers market should help to increase the median and average sales price as the year moves on.  Nice report.
