Recently sold a house to my very sweet first time home buyers. Both are working full time, both are busy with their social lives and both are hopeless dreamers. Enthusiastically and fast they bought a fixer with giant idea to create a master piece. Told them ton of times “guys, it’s going to be too much for your life style, luck of experience and budget” but who listen a realtor right? You know the outcome. Frustrated and exhausted poor kids almost divorced over that remodeling nightmare. Put it on the market, sold it and almost immediately they found another even scarier fixer. My moaning and growling is not helping…. They never learn from somebody else's mistakes, do they...and sometimes not from their own

Out of the frying pan and into the fire!
Yep a fool and their money are soon parted but wisdom is worth more than its weight in gold. I have learned many a lesson the hard way in my youth but get kicked in the teeth enough and you start making better choices (you have to, you only have 32 of them lol)
welcome to the rain enjoy share and learn its a great source of info and connections
Think back to when you made your first real estate transaction, was it smooth? How many did you blow before getting one right? Perhaps this may be the same example.
Larissa, welcome to Activerain, sometimes we can bring a horse to water but no matter what we do we can not make them drink. Hang in there and just say next.
