One of the most popular musicals of all-time is set to hit the stage at Greenbrier Valley Theatre as the Youth Education Program presents Grease.
The show opens at 7:30 p.m. on March 23 and continues March 24, 28, 29, 30 and 31 at 7:30 p.m. Two matinee performances will take place March 25 and April 1 at 3 p.m.
Tickets are $8 for students and $13 for adults.
Join Sandy and Danny as they try to recall and relive their “Summer Nights.” With a little help from their friends, the Pink Ladies and the Greasers, they just might succeed.
Talented middle and high school students from throughout the area have been hard at work to bring the beloved story to life.
Abby-Shelton Storey will take on the role of the All-American sweetheart Sandy and will be joined by Eric Graves as Danny.
The Pink Ladies will be played by Cassie McHale as Rizzo, Carly Brand as Marty, Neely Seams as Frenchy, and Clare Riggleman as Jan.
Their counterparts, The Greasers, are Jake Harper as Kenickie, Jeremy Feury as Roger, Stephen Judy as Doody, and Isaac “Walker” Carroll as Sonny.
Don’t miss this fun, romping trip back in time with the students from Rydell High’s class of ’59.
Grease is under the direction of GVT Artistic Director Cathey Sawyer and the music direction of Lauren Darrell.
