The Elmhurst St. Patrick’s Day Parade 2nd largest outside of Chicago

With expected attendance topping 20,000, the 16^th annual Elmhurst St. Patrick’s Day Parade is the 2^nd largest parade outside of Chicago. The Koenig & Strey Elmhurst office continues to support this parade and similar to last year, are holding a free raffle of a children’s playhouse.

Starting at noon on Saturday, March 10^th, the parade route begins on Spring Rd and Wilson St and heads north, ending at around St Charles Rd.

Clowns, bagpipers, Irish dancers, Shriners are just a few of the many participants scheduled for this year’s parade. Members of the Koenig & Strey team will also march passing out beads, candy and raffle entry forms. The playhouse drawing will take place on Friday, April 6^th at the Koenig & Strey office located at 540 South York St. The winner can elect to have their photo taken and published in the Elmhurst Press.

Plenty of parking is available including the Koenig & Strey parking lot, but due to the large expected turnout, it is strongly suggested attendees arrive early.
