I sold more houses this year than last, (and I am told by most that this was a horrible economy) and I plan on selling even more houses next year, and if that is what you call a "bad economy" keep it coming!

I completely agree - focus on what you can do, not on what you don't have any control over - I've had the majority of my clients having a great year.  We just decided that we weren't going to participate in the hype.
