So much going on in Santa Claus, Indiana in December - Christmas Celebration, Festival of Lights, The Santa Claus Post Office (Only official Santa Claus postmark), and Just the Pure Holiday Spirit of our Town.
We just finished our Christmas Celebration in our town this past weekend. It was unfortunately a very rainly weekend but at least the rain broke for our annual parade in the town. We had so much fun giving to the kids. What a great time to live in Santa Claus, Indiana. December is such a great time to enjoy our town.
I ran across a song that we use to sing when we were young growing up here and thought I would share it with you. I am not sure who the author is or where it came from but it was printed for our family to sing during the holidays in our house. Enjoy the song.
I will also post about Santa Letters below it as well since I know everyone loves to get letters from Santa Claus. Also, if you just want your letters to have the Santa Claus postmark instructions are below as well. These postmarks are designed by local high school students. Enjoy!

I wish my daddy and mommy would take me all the way. To San-ta Claus Indiana, U.S.A.
I'd find the letters for Santa, the ones that went a stray, in Santa Claus, Indiana, U.S.A.
I'd answer good little girls and boys, Saying San-ta will bring your toys.
With eight rein-deer he'll appear riding on a sleigh.
Then I'd mail Daddy's and Mommy's surprise for Christ-mas Day.
