Pay it Forward Anonymously

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with The Tech Byte

dollarsSometimes there are very simple things to bring kindness, and it feels so good!  I prefer giving anonymously, for some reason it blesses me more that way.  Maybe because back about 15 years ago, as a struggling single mother - I was blessed.

Here is one VERY simple, but fun thing to do.  I've done it many times, my kids (21, 18 & 4) love it when I do, they also find it fun.....

When you are in a drive through - tell the cashier you'd like to pay for the car behind you.  I think they are getting more used to it now, cause they don't look at me with a puzzled look on their face.

Even the cashiers seem to get a kick out of it as well.

They had a story about this on Good Morning America this morning.  At a Starbucks someone did that, and it went a few cars back - people kept Paying it Forward over and over again!!!  I thought that was great!

I challenge you to give it a try next time you are in the drive through.  It's usually only a few dollars - it's worth it!starbucks

Okay, next drive thru  I will do just that.  God I hope it is not a truck full of big hungry construction workers at Whataburger!   (And don't you guys follow me arround at lunch time either!)   Great idea.

Deb.... haha! I used to like Taco Bell with the pre-determined price screen :)  Let me know how it goes!!!!

Rosario...... hmmmm guess you could get a gift card, then just hand it to the person behind you and say "Here's a Gift from a Stranger".......  hmmmmm  I'll have to think on this one..... or brave the drive thru just for this :) haha

We used to do this as teenagers . It was fun to see the other peoples faces. Alas in the south we have little chance as there are so few toll booths

I saw that too on gma and was going to post about it. Darn you beat me.  That was so cool that it lasted 2 and 1/2 hours.

Happy holidays.

Tolls are another great one to pay forward for those of you who don't do drive-thrus.

That's rather cool!  Though isn't the Starbucks/McDonald's thing paying it backward? ;-)

Tolls would be another good way to do it, just make sure there are no 18 wheelers behind ya!

Great idea Kim, you'll have to let me know what you drive so when I see you behind me I'll treat ya!

I've done it before but never heard of it going from car to car. That is way too cool. Thanks for sharing that success with us, Kim

What a cool idea!  I'll do it next time I'm at Dunkin Donuts which is just a few yards from my office.  My license plate is REMAXL  so it will be hard to be totally anonymous.
