We have been enjoying a warm & glorious winter and the Green Valley, Arizona Real Estate market has been "warm" as well with 78 sales in the month of February as compared to 73 in January. While the number of sales are slightly ahead of this time last year with 153 as compared to 148 in 2011, days on market are continuing to outpace 2011 at 200 as compared to 168.
My personal experience YTD in 2012 continues to be a strong one with one of my high end listings at 2264 Buried Rock closing in January, and 33 Silver Sky going under contract in less than 60 days and set to close in mid March. In February 3396 Placita De La Fabula closed after just 88 days on the market. YTD I have had 16 transactions, 8 of those are my listings that are either sold or in escrow.
