Although this wasn't designed to be a contest just for DocuSign http://activerain.com/blogsview/2988103/eliminating-inefficiencies-in-real-estate-a-contest, it was DocuSign that eliminated a major inefficiency in my business. Having dealt with out-of-state buyers and sellers, working with faxes of faxes always required that I kept the original, the fax and the fax of the fax (which of course was completely illegible at that point.) Striving to go paperless for years, it was DocuSign that is slowing helping me achieve this! A second major advantage was the speed in which out-of-state (or even in-state) documents were returned to me. While in the past, it would take a client a day or two to return something to me, with the ease and convenience of a product like DocuSign now it is nearly always returned to me within the hour. This increases efficiency so much because when I am working on a file and the required documents come to me quickly, I am able to disperse the executed copies to all necessary parties in a flash!
At first, I tried to do all of this by managing the limited number of FREE envelopes I was given by DocuSign. However, I soon came to realize that subscribing for the full year of DocuSign was most certainly the way to go! The majority of my clients do not have faxes and printing/scanning/emailing is just too labor intensive for most. I did a full year sign up for DocuSign and it has been one of the absolute best purchases I have made due to the complete efficiency it has added to my business!
