The most popular way to play at the National Whitewater Center is with the AllSport Pass. Buy one Pass and play all day at a variety of activities including, whitewater rafting, climbing, flatwater kayaking, whitewater kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, mega zip, climb 2 zip, adventure course, canyon crossing, eco trekking and mountain biking.

 

The Canopy Tour is the newest addition to the many activities at the U.S. National Whitewater Center. The Canopy Tour is a guided experience through the trees and along the Catawba River and portions of the Historic Tuckaseegee Ford and Trail.

Participants are guided through the canopy traveling from platform to platform on a series of zips, bridges, rappels and other high adventure challenges. Along the tour, the guides will highlight the unique natural elements of our environment as well as the historical significance of the area. 

 

Located on the banks of the Catawba River, the National Whitewater Center in Charlotte, NC offers a unique combination of healthy, exciting outdoor experiences designed for kids, families and world class athletes alike.

The U.S. National Whitewater Center is a U.S. Olympic Training Site which serves as a training and play ground for all of us who want to simply play outside.

I have been there and it was a lot of fun.  We didn't white water raft, but we were intriqued on the place and walked around, had lunch, watched people soar down the rapids.  very enjoyable.
